Who we are:

NHS Bolton Library in partnership with the Royal Bolton Hospital Education Centre Library together forms Bolton Health Library Service. An innovative partnership with Bolton Council has allowed the NHS Bolton Library to be located within a central location and to offer extended opening hours to the Health & Social Care community and the wider borough population in general. • Suitable for use for anybody interested in health and social care - general public to students, nurses to community/voluntary workers etc. 
• Over 60 topic areas covered throughout resources
• Resources including books, videos, DVDs, teaching packs available to borrow.
• Broad range of health promotion resources, leaflets and posters available
• Open access computers for PCT staff
• e-access to thousands of journals, books and resources to PCT staff
• Baby-feeding area open to all new mums with breastfeeding specific resources and furniture.

On the last friday of every month - we are pleased to announce that a peer supported breastfeeding drop-in session is to be held within NHS Bolton Library. Please click here for the details in poster format!

I am delighted to announce the arrival of our new Library Techinican - Saturday, Nicola Derbyshire. I am sure Nicola will soon become a valuable member of the team and of great help to our users. Welcome Nicola!
